Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine
Florida Hospital Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine at Adanson offers a comprehensive therapy program to address both orthopaedic and neurological conditions. Our orthopaedic therapists specialize in the evaluation and treatment of general orthopaedic conditions, sports medicine related injuries, and the management of chronic pain syndrome.

Our neurological team of physical, occupational and speech therapists along with medical psychologists on staff specialize in the complex needs of those that have suffered a stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury and other neurological conditions. We have a gym designed to meet the specific therapy needs of our neuro population and a devoted, caring staff to help our clients reach their potential and promote social interaction with others with similar conditions.

Our wellness program promotes a lifetime commitment to an active lifestyle. The wellness gym is fully equipped with aerobic and strengthening equipment and is supervised by an exercise physiolgoist at all times.

Rehabilitation Team
The Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine Team at Orlando - Adanson (off of Lee Road) is under the medical direction of Dr. Mitchell Freed, a board certified physiatrist, specializing in physical medicine and rehabilitation. The center is led by Susan Curran, a physical therapist, who oversees our team of therapists.
