Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation
Florida Hospital Sports
Medicine and Rehabilitation, located within the RDV Sportsplex offers
state-of-the-art rehabilitation services. This Florida Hospital facility has an indoor therapy pool kept between 90-92 degrees Fahrenheit and is accessible via stairs or a hydraulic chair lift.
The Center provides comprehensive evaluation
and treatment utilizing a sports medicine
approach and includes a team of highly trained physical
and occupational therapists, physical therapist assistants, as well as certified athletic trainers. The team works together, educating patients and family regarding the rehabilitation and prevention of musculoskeletal
injuries.
The Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine team works closely with the RDV Sportsplex staff to facilitate the transition into a wellness and fitness program appropriate for our patients.

Rehabilitation Team
The Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine
Team at RDV Sportsplex is under the medical
direction of Dr. Mitchell Freed, a board
certified physiatrist, specializing in
physical medicine and rehabilitation.
The center is led by Kathryn "Bunny" Lennon, physical
therapist, who oversees our team of physical, occupational therapists and certified athletic trainers.
